Who am I?
I’m Heidi Kennedy, educator, mom of two, and founder of Insight Academics.
After 20+ years in education and countless hours juggling kids, school, hockey rinks and real life - I wanted to create something different for the upcoming generation.
Insight Academics is built on a simple belief: kids don’t need to try harder; they need to be understood. I help kids discover how they learn, build confidence and develop the skills to become more independent - in school, in sport and in life.
Insight combines my background in education, mathematics, learning intervention and executive functioning with something much simpler: getting to know the kid first.
Build confidence. Teach independence. Help kids understand their own brains. Because at the end of the day, I’m not here just to create better students. I’m here to help raise capable, confident humans.
This was the first time someone actually explained what was going on with my son. The plan made everything make sense.
